Presidents Early Summer - 2026
Dear Beach Members,
We have a wonderful season planned, full of activities and opportunities to come together and celebrate the beauty of our beach and the strength of our community.

Association Meetings:
Spring Meeting: Sunday, June 14, 10:15 AM - : Meyer White Memorial driveway, 16 Lilac Summer Meeting: Sunday, August 23, 10:15 AM - Meyer White Memorial driveway, 16 Lilac Rd
Social Events:
- Saturday, June 13th - Welcome Back Cocktail Party - 5:30 on the beach!
- Bring an appetizer & Donations for Food Pantry (Stuff a Cruiser/Boat)
- Saturday, July 4th - 9 am Breakfast on the Beach and Parade
- Sunday, July 5th – 9:30 - Tye Dye and 10:30 - Pie Eating
- Saturday, Aug 1 – IVB Beach Party featuring Old World Pizza Truck and DJ Music in Motion
- Saturday August 15- Movie on Beach– Weather permitting
- August 22nd Caribbean Sunset Party – End of Summer Potluck
🗑Carting Services: The Association has once again arranged for weekly curbside garbage and recycling collection with Sweitzer Waste Removal for all IVBA households - Pick Up on Monday (except Memorial Day and Labor Day, it will be Tuesday) You will see the carting charge added to your July tax bill
🐠 Beach Information:
Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach!
Guidelines for leaving chairs on the beach:
- Chairs only, 2 chairs per household with names clearly written (more than 2 or chairs without names will be removed) Chairs can be locked together but, not to fence or to others chairs. Leave at your own risk!
Please continue to use your Orange IVB Tags unless you are leaving your chairs on the beach (We do not want those being taken by non-members)
Please take ALL trash from the beach. (We do not have garbage cans there since people were using them for dog bags and household garbage)
If you are storing a paddle board or kayak on the beach:
It must be no longer than 12’ and only in the designated area on the east side of the fence.
The Association Property owner's name and Coast Guard label must be visible. Get your sticker at If Found Sticker
🏠If you Rent. . . You are reminded that our By-laws prohibits renting for periods of less than two weeks at a time. Violators are subject to a fine. Also, please post the IVBA rules in a conspicuous place (e.g., on the refrigerator) for your renters. A copy of the current Association Rules is available on our website www.islandviewbeach.org 🎗Please remember: Owners are accountable for the behavior of their tenants.
⚒️ If You Plan Home Repairs/Projects. . .Please be considerate of your neighbors when scheduling during the summer. No major exterior work is permitted during July or August.
📧If your E-Mail Address Changes...Email is our main communication with members about Association matters. It is important that we have your current, preferred email address. If you change your email address, please contact Gretchen Lunsford.
